本系於民國89年8月設立「傳統工藝學系」日間學士班，於民國94年8月更名為「古蹟藝術修護學系」，以培育臺灣文化資產之有形與無形資產修復、維護及保存所需專業人才，於民國95年10月教育部通過增設日間碩士班，正式系所合一，透過深厚的文化底蘊及傳統工藝美學之核心素養，孕育具修護知識技能人才，於民國114年8月併入本校「亞太建築空間與文物保存學士學位學程」，延伸結合建築、文物保存專業研究技術實務體系，鏈結古建築、聚落、文物及工藝，補實當今國家推動文化政策所需之產學人才缺口，為保存國內與國際之珍貴文化資產而努力。

併入之「亞太建築空間與文物保存學士學位學程」為連結臺灣當代文化資產修復人才之產業發展，課程核心以文化資產建築、聚落、文物等，結合科學保存與文化修護等專業學術研究及技術實務體系，透過當代科技融入建築空間，文物監測等保存議題，期盼以保存技術與管理維護之目標。

於此，本系發展之方向，著重在大時代背景下，保存臺灣地域所乘載的中國文化傳統命脈，並於學術體制內進行系統化資料整理與專業人才培育，透過臺灣文化資產之無形文化資產（傳統工藝）及有形文化資產（建築修復）的結合，培育臺灣文化資產保存之專業修復人才為使命。

 

本系發展之方向其重點如下：

1.    文化資產保存維護概念、　傳統技藝的正確承繼、田野資料的記錄與整理、古蹟建築經營管理與維護、建築文物保存修復能力

　　本系以建築中木雕、交趾陶、剪黏及彩繪等傳统建築工藝技術，培育建築歷史沿革發展以裝飾圖案、吉語典徵與民間習俗在古建築文化上之應用為核心素養課程，以系统建立歷史典故、稿作複圖、粉本蒐集、資料登錄等項目，量化後分類建目，分年分階段導成圖像資料庫。透過保存失傳的技藝、典徵、稿圖或吉語諧音運用，保留其臺灣區域的文化特質，同時以建築修復、文物保存、預防性維護課程分支，期望能以建築為主體，推動國家文化政策，結合當前文化資產保存、修復及再利用，建構建築空間之保存利用、地方文化創生、建築維護技術、文物保存技術與文資預防性保存等觀念，透過科技融入建築空間與監測文物，展示教育與保存技術，多元跨域課程，以打造國際化與在地化整合的學習系统。

自114學年開始，本系強化文化資產人才之養成，發展分組專業之人才養成，以產業之需求進行人才之專業課程之培育。

A.無形組:以臺灣文化資產傳統藝術專業人才之發展，以薪傳傳統工藝為重任，透過重要匠師教學，進行傳統工藝之技術工藝傳習，並以保存、修護及研究之專業領域，深化學生於傳統工藝領域之學習，透過理論、實務等教學，培育具工藝藝術及工藝技術之人才，為藝術創作、工藝傳習之人才養成。

A. Intangible Cultural Heritage: Focusing on the development of professionals in traditional crafts, which are Taiwan's cultural assets, and on the inheritance of craftsmanship, the group teaches key craftsmen and deepens students' learning in the field of traditional crafts through specialized areas such as preservation, restoration, and research. Through theoretical and practical teaching, the group cultivates talents with craft art and craft technology, and trains talents for artistic creation and craft transmission.

B.有形組：連結臺灣當代文化資產修復人才之產業發展，課程核心以文化資產建築、聚落、文物等，結合科學保存與文化修護等專業學術研究及技術實務體系，透過當代科技融入建築空間，文物監測等保存議題，期盼以保存技術與管理維護之目標，培育臺灣文化資產保存之專業修復人才為使命。

Tangible Cultural Heritage：The core curriculum shows that cultural heritage buildings, groups of buildings, cultural relics, etc., t. We hope to put in effort on a mission of cultivating professional restoration talents for the conservation of Taiwan’s cultural heritage with the goal of conservation technology and management and maintenance through the conservation issues of contemporary technology integrated into architecture space, cultural relics monitoring, and so on.

藉由建築空間調查、文物修復、文化資產保存現況等路徑發展，透過非傳統教學體系培育專業人才系統，深刻瞭解臺灣文化資產保存觀看古建築、聚落、文物。同時，函蓋建築、空間之保存再利用、地方文化、建築維護、文物保存技術與文資預防性保存等領域。

By means of development of architectural space investigation, cultural relics restoration, and cultural heritage conservation status, through a non-traditional teaching mechanism and professional talent cultivation system to deeply understand Taiwan’s cultural heritage conservation and observe historic buildings, groups of buildings, and cultural relics. In addition, it includes the fields of conservation and reuse of architecture and space, maintenance of local culture and buildings, technology in cultural relics conservation and preventive conservation of cultural heritage.

專業內容

Professional content of Architecture Space and Cultural Relics in Conservation 

A.傳統工藝 Traditional Handicraft    木雕、彩繪、剪黏、交趾陶

以無形文化資產之傳統工藝為主，透過各類傳統藝術之國家藝師進行傳承，以古蹟建築之木雕、彩繪、剪黏、交趾陶等新作人才養成培育，以實務藝術手把手教學、培育具備藝術創作及傳統工藝人才為方向。

Focusing on traditional crafts of intangible cultural assets, the school passes on the traditions through national artists of various traditional arts, and cultivates talents in new works such as wood carving, painting, paper-cutting, and Cochin pottery in ancient buildings. The school aims to cultivate talents with artistic creation and traditional crafts through hands-on teaching of practical arts.

B.建築修復Architectural  Preservation  歷史建築、古蹟保存、再利用、經營維護與管理

以文化資產產業發展為主體，透過建築保存的歷程，進行人才養成培育，以實務教學完成建築調查、修復與再利用之規劃及建築保存，做為未來經營管理及維護人才為培育方向。

A.Conservation, Reuse, Operating Management, and Maintenance of Historic Buildings and Monuments:

Conducting talent cultivation and training through the process of building conservation with development of cultural heritage industry as the mainstay, and after completing architectural investigation, preservation, and reuse planning, and building preservation through practical teaching, the management and maintenance will be the essential cultivation direction in the future.

C.文物修護Relics Conservation 古物與文物的保存修護，利用科學保存延續文物價值

以建築空間內之文物進行保存維護，以科學保存方式，為建築空間內的壁畫、彩繪等進行維護工作，透過調查、清潔、加固、全色等方式，完成文物的保存真實性，以科學儀器方式為培育方向。

B. Conservation and Repair of Antiquities and Cultural Relics, Using Method of Conservation in Science to Extend the Life of Cultural Relics:

Conserve and maintain the cultural relics in the architecture space and use conservation in science to maintain the murals, colored drawings, etc. in the architecture space, thereby conserving the authenticity of the cultural relics by means of investigation, cleaning, reinforcement, full coloring, etc. The instrumental method shall be the talent cultivation direction.
